Kognito offers institutions a variety of tools to gauge course effectiveness.
Behavioral Analytic Tool: Collects and organizes players' decisions within our simulations and processes that data to provide powerful insights in understanding changes in player behavior.
Survey Tools: Simulations include embedded pre- and post- surveys into our simulations to assess changes in skill, behavior, knowledge, and attitude. They also include a follow-up survey given to learners several months after training completion.
Usage-Analysis Tool: Tracks information such as time spent, progress, and completion rates.

Empirical studies of our trainings have revealed measureable changes in learners' skills and behaviors. Simulations that have been evaluated include:
At-Risk for High School Educators - A study across 40 states found that the simulation significantly increases teachers' ability to identify, approach and refer students exhibiting signs of psychological distress.
Download Research ReportAt-Risk for University and College Faculty - A study at 68 universities found that faculty who completed the simulation reported an increase in the number of at-risk students they approached and referred to the counseling center.
Download Research ReportAt-Risk for University and College Students - A study at 35 universities found that the simulation increased the likelihood that students will approach and refer fellow students who exhibit signs of psychological distress.
